CHONDRO-Cell™ is a high-concentration cellular therapy product created by suspending 20 million isolated live chondroblast (chondrocyte) cells in 2-5 ml of physiological saline for the repair of damaged tissue. The cell count can be optimized according to the size of the defect and clinical need.

Mechanism of Action

CHONDRO-Cell™ works by providing direct live cell support to cartilage tissue, which has difficulty repairing itself due to its avascular structure.

Cell-to-cell repair: Live chondrocytes transplanted to the area with cartilage defects colonize the damaged tissue and initiate biological repair.

Regeneration and Reconstruction: The transplanted cells aim to synthesize the cartilage matrix, repairing losses on the joint surface and restoring tissue integrity.

Combined Repair Power: Especially in areas where tendons attach to bone (mineralized areas) and in cartilage tears, it strengthens the repair process when used in combination with Cord-Blast™ (Fibroblast) cells.

Application Method

CHONDRO-Cell™, recommended as an alternative treatment for repairing articular cartilage injuries, cartilage defects, and damage to tendon attachment sites, is usually administered via intra-articular or local (muscle-tendon-ligament) injection under the supervision of a specialist physician.
