CORD-Blast™

WJ is a cell solution developed entirely by Genkord and derived from cord tissue. It is prepared as a suspension of 20 million fibroblast cells in 5 ml of serum.

Mechanism of Action

CORD-Blast™ (fibroblast) cells are cord tissue mesenchymal-derived fibroblast cells developed by Genkord, and are the closest cells to mesenchymal stem cells in terms of function.

CORD-Blast™ can be used by anyone without requiring tissue compatibility because they do not express HLA:

  • Synthesis of extracellular matrix in cells

  • Production of collagen, elastin, and other proteins.

  • Angiogenesis

  • It provides immunomodulatory effects and facilitates the repair of all soft tissue damage.

The main function of fibroblasts is to synthesize collagen, which forms the 3D structure of cells and tissues. They are also recommended for the repair of all traumatic, disease-related, or iatrogenic wound defects, and for the treatment of acute and chronic tendon inflammations such as rotator cuff, tennis elbow, and Achilles tendinitis, thanks to their anti-inflammatory and angiogenetic properties. In tendinitis, local injections are recommended in the non-mineralized zone (Zone II) at the tendon attachment site. After suppression of the inflammatory process, their use in combination with chondrosomes in Zone I is recommended.

Application Method

Intra-dermal

It can be applied directly into the lesion.

It is recommended as a supportive and therapeutic product for skin regeneration and wound healing, and for the treatment of inflammation, strain, and tearing of tendons and ligaments.
